DUOMATE CAMPAIGN

“Create a concept for a mental well-being campaign, aimed at university students.”

Statistics show that around 50% of UK students are negatively affected by mental health, with the most commonly reported issues being anxiety and stress. The task was to not only create the campaign’s visual identity but also to implement a resource around the chosen area. (Social Anxiety)

Additional outcomes were also required to help market and promote the campaign. For this, I made some posters, an interactive flyer, a website concept and a social intervention “card game”.

  • With the campaign bringing focus to social anxiety, I decided to keep it simple by isolating only the key elements. The visual “brain wrinkle” pattern (usually seen across the top) helped represent the core purpose of the campaign while providing a recognisable and striking visual component across all branding.

The primary aim was to promote discussion and get people to talk to one another in a more comfortable environment. The promotional material like the interactive flyer and social intervention cards not only work to create that environment but also help evoke deeper thought through a questioning tone of voice.
